Champions for Life 20-Week Program – Leader’s Manual
Our fun and engaging program helps children learn fundamental movement skills, so that they build their confidence and competence in skills like running, jumping, balancing, kicking and throwing.
Our Champions for Life Leader Manual provides the necessary guidance and activities to deliver our 20-week physical literacy program at your school or organization.
Included in this manual are:
- 20 Session Plans;
- 4 sets of Challenge Stations and Challenge Sheets
- 51 Cue Sheets for various fundamental movement skills
- List of equipment required to run an effective program
The Champions for Life 20-week program consists of four modules. Each module is composed of five sessions. Through demonstrations, practice, games and challenge stations, children will have the opportunity to explore a series of fundamental movement skills in each module.
Our richly illustrated session plans focus on a specific fundamental movement skill and clearly explain which activities you will be doing with the children each week. Also included are adaptations and progressions for Kindergarten students and students in Grades 1 and 2, but the program is adaptable to all children at the elementary school level.
